Patented and unique shoe carding tool.
The ‘Covid’ article, born in April 2000 just during the lockdown, is useful for carding the upper of box soles intended for the sneaker world. A tool that can be used by classic manual machines, as well as automated machinery, such as anthropomorphic robotic arms. Thanks to a set of levers anchored to the body of the tool, the teeth used for carding do not turn on themselves when they meet the resistance of the upper, but fulfill their task of offering a faster carding and able to process even the heaviest leathers (usually used for safety or mountain shoes, up to 5 millimeters thick). This is usually a manual process that involves about ten passes without achieving the same results as the innovative solution developed by Italfrese.
